We know it can be somewhat intimidating entering into a new environment, but we are glad that you are interested in visiting our church. To help you get to know us and give you a glimpse of what you can expect, we have answered some general questions about our church and what we do.
9:15 am - Early Service
10:00 am - Adult Bible Study
10:50 am - Main Worship Service
9:30 am - Children's Meetings
3085 Grand Prairie Road SE, Albany OR
Our early service starting at 9:15 am begins with singing a few hymns. After the singing the children go to their classes at 9:30 am. Then the person incharge of the service prays, reads a few Bible verses, provides a mission story, which is either a video or read story, and gives a 10-15 min talk. After that people go to one of our three adult Bible Studies.
The children's classes provide singing, stories, Bible lessons, nature lessons, topic discussions, and crafts. Children should be picked up at 10:40 am.
Our adult Bible studies either use a weekly Bible study guide or a religious book. There is a teacher that leads the class through discussions of the topic for the week.
At 10:50 am we come together in the sanctuary for our main worship service. This service is composed of announcements, singing, scripture reading, prayer, offering giving, children's story, music, and a sermon.
We also have a fellowship potluck meal on the second and forth Saturday of each month. If you are visiting, you are welcome to come eat and visit with us without bring anything.
